What You’ll Find Inside

Fill October with math kids actually want to do: pumpkin puzzles, monster games, sugar skull art, and a haunted house escape room.

The Halloween + Day of the Dead Math Bundle brings together four holiday resources: Halloween Math for two age groups, Day of the Dead Symmetry Drawing, and Escape From Haunted Mansion.

Use them throughout October and into Día de los Muertos whenever you want math that feels more like a celebration.

Halloween Math (ages 6–7) + Halloween Math (ages 8–9)

Two leveled collections mix skill practice with drawing, games, hands-on puzzles, and real-world exploration. Activities include:

  • Pumpkin Numbers and Pumpkin Puzzles

  • Haunted Drawing

  • Roll a Monster

  • Picture Addition (and Picture Multiplication in the older set)

  • Pumpkin Exploration, with a real pumpkin

  • Symmetry drawing

The younger set focuses on number sense, place value, and addition. The older set adds 2-digit addition, rounding, large numbers, and multiplication. With both levels included, siblings can work side by side, and kids can move up when they're ready.

Day of the Dead Symmetry Drawing

Four whimsical sugar skulls—Dolores, Isadora, Grimaldo, and Oscar—each drawn in half on a grid. Kids recreate the missing half, paying close attention to shape, position, and detail, then color and decorate their finished skull.

Escape From Haunted Mansion

It's Halloween night, and a mischievous ghost has shut the door of the old mansion behind the kids. The only way out in time for trick-or-treating? Find the 7 math puzzle clues hidden around the room, solve them, and crack the ghost's secret code.

Along the way, kids work with place value, numbers to 200, odd and even numbers, patterns, and logic.

The puzzles can be solved in any order, so it works well for siblings, friends, a co-op, or a class.

Four Ways to Make Math Part of the Season

Grab a quick activity, decorate a sugar skull, investigate a real pumpkin, or spend an hour solving your way out of a haunted mansion. Together, they give you a month of variety and a different kind of math for every mood of the season.
